Can any animal be treated at Bones Hands?
Our mission is to help animals. We give our best every day. Unfortunately, there are a few conditions we must rule out to ensure our treatment doesn't worsen your pet's condition. It's important that your pet doesn't have malignant tumors. Bone screws and plates must be clarified with us beforehand through a doctor's report, and hip surgeries must have been performed at least two to three months ago. We can only treat female dogs outside of their heat cycle, as otherwise it could cause too much disruption in our practice.
How much does a pet treatment at Bones Hands cost?
Animal chiropractic and osteopathic treatment at Bones Hands costs €250 for dogs, cats, rodents, and birds. For horses and hoofed animals, the treatment costs €350. How does animal treatment work?
During an animal treatment, a detailed medical history is first taken to understand your animal's individual needs. Your animal will then receive a preliminary massage to warm up the muscles and ensure a gentle treatment by our animal chiropractors/osteopaths. Once the massage is complete, Murat or Hamza will examine your animal more closely regarding movement patterns, posture, and any potential discomfort before the chiropractic/osteopathic treatment begins. The goal is always to help your animal relieve pain and improve mobility.
What do I need to bring with me for the animal treatment?
If your dog gets nervous or stressed easily, please bring a towel or blanket where they'll feel comfortable. Other species that are brought in a crate already have a place to retreat to. If your dog is prone to aggressive behavior, please bring their muzzle. Feel free to bring any medications, X-rays, MRI, or CT scans that may be relevant to treatment to show our chiropractors before treatment.
